DEDICATED FOR 19" RACK SERVER CABINETS

The purpose of uninterruptible power supplies from the Rack PSW series is to ensure security of equipment in server, IT rooms, etc. Dedicated to 19" Rack server cabinets, the R/1000I/PSW model provides comprehensive protection against overvoltages, while regulating the voltage of the powered device and maintaining its operation in the event of a power outage. 

WIDER FIELD OF APPLICATION

UPS R/1000I/PSW is a high-quality uninterruptible power supply with Line-interactive topology.  
The aspect that distinguishes this series of uninterruptible power supplies from the standard models in this group is the pure sine wave on the UPS output sockets. For the user, this means the broader possibility of using an emergency power supply to support the operation of equipment with an electric motor or heater, e.g., laser printers, scanners, garage and entry gates, electric blinds, central furnaces, etc.

EFFICIENT, FUNCTIONAL SOLUTION

Uninterruptible power supply model R/1000I/PSW was created for the most demanding tasks within 19” Rack cabinets, such as supporting the work of workstations, servers or high energy consumption network/surveillance systems. The UPS can perform such hard work due to the use of more efficient 9Ah batteries, with a Power Factor of 0.7. What is more, this model has 4 IEC 320 C13 output sockets, with which it can protect several devices at once.

Due to the nature of its operation (Pure sine wave during battery operation), the UPS can be used with devices with an electric motor or heater, e.g., laser printers, scanners, garage and entry gates, electric roller blinds, central heating furnaces.

CONVENIENT OPERATION MONITORING SYSTEM

The Armac uninterruptible power supply communicates via the USB port. It  allows you to connect the UPS to the PC and issue commands or monitor the operation of the device using PowerManager II software. It is a convenient and straightforward way to ensure proper protection for valuable equipment.

VARIOUS INSTALLATION POSSIBILITIES AND HELPFUL ASSEMBLY ACCESSORIES INCLUDED

The device can be mounted inside a 19" rack cabinet in two ways: using just the mounting ears (included with the product) or with the help of additional Armac' mounting rail set - R/0019, recommended installation option due to the better stability and security of Battery Pack.

Also included with the UPS are unique stands, allowing the device to be installed vertically, outside the Rack cabinet.

In the box, apart from mounting ears for 19" Rack cabinets, you can also find a supply of M6 screws and cage nuts. Both products are made of a metal alloy that guarantees their reliability. There is no question of bent accessories that instead of helping, e.g., hinder the installation within the server cabinet.      

ARMAC UPS SAFETY - OVERLOAD PROTECTION

Uninterruptible power supply R/1000I/PSW also copes well with challenging tasks in the office, server room or IT workshop, such as protection of workstations, servers, or network or monitoring systems with high energy consumption. The UPS has 4 IEC 320 C13 output sockets, allowing many devices to be connected to it.

Importantly, each Armac emergency power supply system is equipped with an overload protection module. When the UPS is overloaded during its regular operation, the device will automatically safely shut down the power supply to the equipment connected to it. This solution strengthens the safety and comfort of using Armac uninterruptible power supplies.

MICROPROCESSOR CONTROL – EFFECTIVE SURVEILLANCE OF SENSITIVE DEVICES

The proper work of the emergency power supply is supervised by a specially built-in processor that controls the parameters of the device itself, its correct operation and the power supply of connected devices. The technology used in the UPS also ensures automatic battery charging in Stand-By mode, as well as automatic start-up feature after the power supply returns.

AUTOMATIC VOLTAGE STABILIZER – AVR

With the implemented of AVR feature in R/1000I/PSW, standard solutions commonly found in
Line-interactive UPS are improved. That is due to the use of the network autotransformer, which regulates the voltage transmitted to devices connected to the UPS on an ongoing basis. AVR, therefore, provides comfort and high performance.

• If the voltage is about 255V or higher, then UPS will transmit the AC power to the autotransformer (AVR) and the output voltage will be within the allowable range from 195 to 255V.

• If the voltage is approximately 195 V or less, then UPS will transmit the AC power to the autotransformer (AVR) and the output voltage will be within the allowable range from 195V to 255V.
